Side-by-Side
Barbara and Craig Snapp have been married and exploring Maine for 52 years. When they moved permanently to Brunswick in 2003, they both began seriously to capture Maine’s beauty in art. Craig is a photographer; Barbara works with paint and soft pastels. They often find that the same landscape appeals to both of them. This show presents a sampling of their independent expressions of Maine’s unique features.
Many images are from scenes around Petit Manan Point in Steuben where Barbara came every summer as a child and where Craig and Barbara now have a vacation cottage. The other images are from Baxter State Park and the surrounding wilderness.
