Season of Promise

Monday, September 7, 2020 to Friday, October 30, 2020

After a summer of virtual art shows and limited socializing, Points of View Artists are looking forward to new beginnings and fresh perspectives in hopes that the pandemic will loosen its grip.  Work in this show represents some of the joys of summer, the vibrancy of color, and the inspiration behind the artists’ creativity.

The human eye can only see light wavelengths between 400 (violet) to 700 (red) nanometers.   This digital camera photo was taken with a 720 nm filter in front of the lens.  The filter allowed invisible near infrared light from 720 nm up to about 1200 nm to reach the camera's sensor.  The resulting image was converted to black and white for us humans to see.

Double the Fun

This jovial portrait is in a private collection far away in Washington State.

A portrait of delicacy

Wish-fulfilling Trees

Beyond the wish-fulfilling trees there is something brighter in the distance.  A welcome idea.
