New Directions highlights work by Points of View Artist Carolyn Judson and 4 guest artists.  Nan Moran, Cathy Bloom, Susan Perrine, and Harold Roberts join Carolyn in exhibiting a wide variety of 2- and 3-dimensional art.

 

Susan Perrine constructs textiles ranging in size from handheld to inhabitable. Materials may be locally collected horse hair, harvested twigs or things intercepted from their trip to the landfill. Installations of Woven Twig Garden Structures include: Artpark in Lewiston, New York, Atrium Gallery in Lewiston, Maine, Coastal Maine Botanical Garden, Nantucket Island School of Design and Convergence in Newport, Rhode Island.  Visit her website: www.susanperrine.com.

Bookquin Collar

Once-loved books make their way to thrift store. I cut and stitch them into wearable art.

Coffee Goddess

Enjoyed the coffee, saved the packages, cut and stitched them together.
