New Directions / Carolyn Judson
New Directions highlights work by Points of View Artist Carolyn Judson and 4 guest artists. Nan Moran, Cathy Bloom, Susan Perrine, and Harold Roberts join Carolyn in exhibiting a wide variety of 2- and 3-dimensional art.
This section of the show highlights work by Carolyn Judson. Carolyn is a long-time member of Points of View Artists who moves easily between two-dimensional paintings and three-dimensional sculpture. She says that her art work allows her to grab and hold something that’s too fleeting, yet seems surprisingly important. Many of her sculptures explore the mysteries of time, space – often with a whimsical twist. Others are more down-to-earth – cats, elephants, and gas stations. Her drawings and oil paintings usually show landscape scenes from the realistic to the imaginary.
Carolyn is presently showing her artwork at Markings Gallery in Bath (https://www.markingsgallery.com/clay.html). To inquire about purchasing one of Carolyn’s works in this show, please email info@povartistsmaine.com.
