Four artists from Points of View have entered work in A Natural Order, an exhibit sponsored by Spindleworks that brings attention to all living species from insect to tree and bird to mammal. The exhibit is on display at Frontier Cafe in Fort Andross through June 30th. 20% of sales from the exhibit will be donated to the Coastal Humane Society. The exhibit opens on Friday, May 11, with a reception from 5 to 8 pm. The reception is scheduled to be a fitting conclusion to the All Species Parade that takes place at 4:30 pm on Maine Street in Brunswick and runs from the Town Mall toward Fort Andross.
Judith Long entered All that glitters . . . , an etching with chine colle from her monoprint series featuring two playful ravens. Also entered is Balance: Chipmunk, a pastel by Barbara Snapp; Cat Tooth, a photograph of the family cat by Craig Snapp; and 3 funky assemblage animals by Lucy Banfield, including Cobblebird and Snappy seen below.
