Archie Banfield joins his wife Lucy as a guest artist in this show that highlights the art of assemblage.  Two different approaches - two interesting results.

He has a specific idea in mind when he starts a project, perhaps,Big Ben Clocks. Then the research and the gathering begins. Once all the various components are to his satisfaction, then the assemblage takes place. The end results are a theme orientated assemblage.

She, on the other hand, collects and gathers without a plan, but an abstract thought that something will transpire out of the many, many, many, miscellaneousitems that have been accumulated. Sure, enough, after contemplating for a bit, it happens. One thing leads to another and before she knows it, the assemblage is taking on a personality of its own. Because of that her end results typically get named.
