The sun is shining.  The snow is melting.  Can Art Walk season be far behind?   Points of View Artists will open the 2015 Art Walk season in their art gallery at 18 Pleasant Street in Brunswick with Pastel Narratives featuring Barbara Snapp and Harriet Lindemann and Up in the Attic with works by Bonnie Dickey and Ed Morton. Each month from June to October will include a new show on the first floor Main Gallery and in the Garret Gallery on the third floor.

In addition Points of View Artists will be featured in an exhibit at Gallery Framing in June. Suddenly Summer will feature art that evokes that season which comes so swiftly and stays so briefly here in Maine.  Gallery Framing is located at 12 Pleasant Street in Brunswick.

And to cap off our season, Points of View Artists will once again co-sponsor the 10 X 10 Benefit Art Exhibit & Sale with Arts Are Elementary.  This event takes place on Friday, September 25 from 6 to 9 pm at Curtis Memorial Library and St Paul’s Episcopal Church.  Proceeds support the artist-in-residence program provided by Arts Are Elementary to all K-5 students in Brunswick.

Main Gallery shows at 18 Pleasant include:  Pastel Narratives  (Harriet Lindemann and Barbara Snapp in June);  You, Me and Ed   (Barbara Bean, Jackie Melissas and Ed McCartan in July);  Space/Time/Collage   (Carolyn Judson, Beth Heron and guest artists Kathleen Boldt and Middy Thomas in August);  Bella Figura   (Judith Long and guest artist Burke Long in September); and New Directions  (a group show in October).
