Tim Banks' 15 watercolors form the nucleus of Asante Africa, the September show inspired by his travels in Africa.  Other Points of View artists join him in this exhibit on the first two floors of the gallery at 18 Pleasant Street in Brunswick.  See a sampling of the work on the Events page.

Harriet Lindemann's intriguing pen and ink drawings continue to be on display in the third floor Garret Gallery through September.  They are well worth the trip up the stairs.

In October, Points of View Artists will present Pairings, a collaborative show by all 16 artists.  The artists paired up and are creating responsive pieces that relate to each other in pairs.  The theme and approach used by each artist pair are unique and reflect the interaction of the two artists as well as each artist's individuality.

The Garret Gallery show for October will be The Maine Experience by Barbara Snapp.  Works in several media will describe Barbara's journey in art and travels in Maine.

Summary:

The exhibits planned for September and October have been switched.  Asante Africa will be the topic for September, and Pairings will be on display in October.
