Ann Slocum, Bonnie Dickey and Judith Long each won an award in the Joy of Art show held in January 2013.  A selection of their work is now part of the Joy of Art Winners Show at the Topsham Library (25 Foreside Road, Topsham).  The show runs from May 15 until June 26.  An example of art from each artist is shown below.

In addition, Judith Long's print, Dais d'or (see below), has been juried in to Art2013 at the Harlow Gallery in Hallowell, Maine.  This prestigious show was juried by Daniel Kany and Bob Keyes.  The exhibit remains up until June 1.

 

Ed McCartan is showing work in three different juried shows in May and June.  Each show has a different theme which Ed's versatile style has been able to match.

     Birds of a Feather, Chocolate Church, Bath, May 17-July 13, reception May 17, 5-7pm

     Dreams and Reveries, River Arts Gallery, Damariscotta, May 3-31

     Paste and Pages, Harlow Gallery, Hallowell, June 7-29, reception June 7, 5-8 pm
